Caye Caulker is the perfect stress-free place to get married. You can say ‘I do’ under a palm tree, a palapa strung with flowers, or even on a boat. Or if you prefer, you can have a traditional service, and start your honeymoon as you step out of the church. You can be barefoot and casual on the sand or dress up as much as you like. Many couples come alone to get married, but you can also bring large parties with you to share a wonderful holiday and your special day.

Costs

With costs of weddings soaring in western countries, this is an economic way to save your funds for married life. Costs for a basic, no frills wedding start at just US$375, but you can add as many frills as you like. Tropical flowers and delicious wedding cakes are easily produced for you. Celebrate with a romantic meal for two, or delicious wedding breakfast for many at a choice of restaurants.

Paperwork

All your Paperwork can be completed with a minimum of fuss, and just 3 working days in advance of the date. All other arrangements can be decided on arrival on the island, or months in advance as you wish.

Photography

Beautiful wedding photos are an essential part of the special memories, often not appreciated until the glow of the actual event becomes hazy. For those who miss the wedding itself, good photography is a wonderful way to share the memories and experience. Some show them as a slide show for a party back home. Packages from Red Mangrove’s resident photographer start at just US$125 and can be tailored to be exactly what and as much or as little as you want. For those who are shy or wishing to have a private ceremony, staging photos after the event is also popular. We can make them as posed or informal as you like.
